INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • ½ cup semolina
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pineapple
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 cup Pomegranate seeds
  • 10 to 12 raisins
  • Milk and water

HOW TO PREPARE RAVA SHEERA

    Heat some clarified butter in a pan and roast semolina (rava) in it on a low flame till the colour turns a light brown.

    Add sugar to it and mix.
  3. 3

    Simultaneously, pour milk and water in another pan and allow it to boil.
  4. 4

    Slowly pour the boiled milk into the roasted semolina stirring the mixture constantly.
  5. 5

    Add chopped pineapple, cardamom powder, raisins and pomegranate seeds.

    Mix well.

    Let it cook till it becomes thick.
  8. 8

    Transfer the sheera to a serving plate.
  9. 9

    Garnish it with some black raisins.
