INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 cup Bansmati Rice
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 cup Jaggery
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ tsp Green Cardamom
  • 3 Cloves
  • 6 Pistachio
  • 8 Almonds
  • 6 cashew
  • 10 Raisins
  • ½ cup Fresh Coconut
  • 2 cups Water

PREPARATION

    Warm ghee in a pan, add rice and roast it till golden brown. grind the sautéed rice and keep aside. in another pan add water, jaggery stir well to make a syrup. add grinded rice in jaggery syrup add milk, crushed cardamom powder and sauté. in another pan warm ghee, add cloves, pistachio, almonds, cashew, raisins and fry. add fresh grated coconut in rasiya add water and let the rice cook. add dry fruits in rasiya and sauté. remove rasiya from the pan. garnish with fried and chopped pistachio. serve rasiya hot or chilled as per your preference.
