- 20 dried red chillies
- 1 cup toor dal
- 1 cup bengal gram
- 1 cup coriander seeds
- 3 tbsp black peppercorns
- 3 tbsp cumin seeds
- Dry Roast the Red chillies, toor dal and bengal gram for a couple of minutes.
- Remove aside and let it cool.
- Dry roast the remaining ingredients, i.e. coriander seeds, black peppercorn, cumin seeds for a couple of mins. Once done, remove and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Grind all the ingredients to a fine powder, store in an airtight container.
