INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices bread
  • oil for frying
  • .
  • For Stuffing: 1 cup mashed beans boiled Red Kidney
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp yellow bell pepper chopped
  • 2 tbsp grated cheese
  • ½ tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp crushed black pepper
  • ½ tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • salt to taste
  • For Garnish: Tomato sauce
  • Parsley

HOW TO PREPARE RAJMA SANDWICH

    In a bowl take boiled and mashed red kidney beans, chopped mushrooms, chopped onion, chopped red, green and yellow bell peppers, grated cheese, ginger powder, garlic powder, crushed black pepper, red chilli flakes, chopped coriander and a little salt.

    Mix them all well to prepare the stuffing for the sandwich.

    Cut the edges of the bread slices.
  4. 4

    Stuff a slice of bread with the prepared mixture.
  5. 5

    Cover it with another slice.
  6. 6

    Press the sides of the bread and cut the corners and give it a round shape.
  7. 7

    Make a few more stuffed sandwiches.

    Heat oil in a pan.
  9. 9

    Deep fry the stuffed sandwiches.
  10. 10

    Using a tissue paper drain the excess oil.
  11. 11

    Transfer the sandwiches to a serving plate.
  12. 12

    Garnish the plate and sandwiches with tomato sauce and parsley.
