Raisins Brioche

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp Caster sugar
  • 10 to 12 raisins
  • 4 to 5 drops vanilla essence
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ cup yeast
  • Butter as required
  • salt to taste

    Break the eggs in a bowl.
  2. 2

    Add milk caster sugar, raisins, vanilla essence and salt.
  3. 3

    Whisk them all together.
  4. 4

    Add flour, activated yeast and butter.
  5. 5

    Mix well.
  6. 6

    Rest the dough for 10 minutes.
  7. 7

    Place a silicon mould tray on the baking tray.
  8. 8

    Fill the moulds with the prepared dough.
  9. 9

    Bake in a pre heated oven at 210 C for 20 minutes.
  10. 10

    Serve hot in a handy plate.
