INGREDIENTS

  • 4 pieces bread
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp sugar powder
  • 1 to 2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tsp saffron water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup Rabdi
  • 2 to 4 Pistachios
  • 2 to 3 candied cherries
  • 1 Silver foil
  • 1 Mint leaf

PREPARATION

    For the batter: In a bowl add milk, egg, egg yolk, powdered sugar, cardamom powder and saffron water. Mix it well. For the bread: Take four slices of bread and cut them with the help of a ring mould. Then, melt butter into a saucepan. Dip the bread into the batter and place them on the pan. Fry until the bread turns golden brown. For the plating: Place the bread onto a plate and add rabdi over it. Make two layers of the bread and rabdi. Garnish it with pistachios, candied cherries, silver leaf and mint leaf.
