INGREDIENTS

  • 4 pieces bread
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp sugar powder
  • 1 to 2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tsp saffron water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup Rabdi
  • 2 to 4 Pistachios
  • 2 to 3 candied cherries
  • 1 Silver foil
  • 1 Mint leaf

HOW TO PREPARE RABDI FRENCH TOAST

    For the batter: In a bowl add milk, egg, egg yolk, powdered sugar, cardamom powder and saffron water.

    Mix it well.

    For the bread: Take four slices of bread and cut them with the help of a ring mould.
  4. 4

    Then, melt butter into a saucepan.
  5. 5

    Dip the bread into the batter and place them on the pan.
  6. 6

    Fry until the bread turns golden brown.
  7. 7

    For the plating: Place the bread onto a plate and add rabdi over it.
  8. 8

    Make two layers of the bread and rabdi.
  9. 9

    Garnish it with pistachios, candied cherries, silver leaf and mint leaf.
