INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • 1 tsp chana dal
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 dry red chillies
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup veggies
  • 1 cup water
  • salt
  • 1 cup quinoa

PREPARATION

    Heat oil in a saucepan.

    Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, urad dal, chana dal, chopped ginger, red chillies and curry leaves.

    Saute them well.

    Add chopped veggies (onions, french beans, capsicum, carrot and green peas).

    Saute them for 2-3 minutes.

    Add water and salt into the pan.
  7. 7

    Cook until water comes to a boil.

    Add quinoa and cook until the quinoa absorbs the water.
  9. 9
