INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • 1 tsp chana dal
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 dry red chillies
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup veggies
  • 1 cup water, Salt
  • 1 cup quinoa

HOW TO PREPARE QUINOA UPMA

    Heat oil in a saucepan.

    Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, urad dal, chana dal, chopped ginger, red chillies and curry leaves.

    Saut� them well.
  4. 4

    Then, add chopped veggies (onions, french beans, capsicum, carrot and green peas).
  5. 5

    Saut� them for 2-3 minutes.
  6. 6

    Add water and salt into the pan.
  7. 7

    Cook until water comes to a boil.
  8. 8

    Then, add quinoa and cook until the quinoa absorbs the water.
  9. 9

    Enjoy your quinoa upma.
