INGREDIENTS

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 - 3 chopped green chillies
  • 1 tbsp rice bran oil
  • 1 - 2 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp roasted Bengal gram
  • 2 tbsp rice bran and olive oil
  • 1/2 mustard seeds
  • 7 - 8 curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 turmeric powdered

HOW TO PREPARE QUINOA UPMA

    For quinoa upma heat rice bran oil in a pan.

    Add cumin seeds mustard seeds, chopped ginger, onion, roasted Bengal gram, soaked quinoa mixed with black sesame seeds, water, coriander leaves, and chopped green chilli.

    Mix well.

    For the mushroom mixture, heat olive oil and rice bran oil in a pan.
  5. 5

    Add mustard seeds curry leaves, chopped onion, chopped mushrooms, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, green chillies, and coconut milk.

    Toss well.

    Garnish quinoa upma with lemon juice and chopped green chilli.
  8. 8

    Serve upma with mushroom mixture, parmesan chips, and filter coffee.
