  • 4 slices bread
  • For Batter ½ cup Yogurt
  • cup semolina
  • salt to taste
  • water
  • For Topping 2 chopped shallots
  • 1 chopped red bell pepper
  • Few coriander leaves
  • chopped cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • For Serving Coconut chutney Kokam sharbat

    Cut the bread slices with a round cutter. In a bowl, whisk yogurt, semolina, salt, and water. The batter is ready. For the topping, chop the shallots, red bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, and coriander leaves. In a pan, heat oil. Dip the bread slices in the batter and place them in the heated oil. Add topping on the the bread slices. Cook the slices from both sides. Serve veg uttapams with coconut chutney and kokam sharbat.
