  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • For Serving: Coconut chutney and Kokam sharbat
  • FOR For the batter
  • ½ cup Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup semolina
  • salt to taste
  • water
  • FOR For the topping
  • 2 chopped shallots
  • 1 chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • Few coriander leaves

HOW TO PREPARE QUICK VEG UTTAPAM

    Cut the bread slices with a round cutter.

    In a bowl, whisk yogurt, semolina, salt, and water to form a batter.
  3. 3

    For the topping, chop the shallots, red bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, and coriander leaves.

    In a pan, heat oil.
  5. 5

    Dip the bread slices in the batter and place them in the heated oil.

    Add toppings on the the bread slices.

    Cook the slices from both sides on low heat.
