INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices bread
  • For Batter ½ cup Yogurt
  • cup semolina
  • salt to taste
  • water
  • For Topping 2 chopped shallots
  • 1 chopped red bell pepper
  • Few coriander leaves
  • chopped cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • For Serving Coconut chutney Kokam sharbat

HOW TO PREPARE QUICK VEG UTTAPAM

  1. 1

    Cut the bread slices with a round cutter.
  2. 2

    In a bowl, whisk yogurt, semolina, salt, and water.
  3. 3

    The batter is ready.
  4. 4

    For the topping, chop the shallots, red bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, and coriander leaves.
  5. 5

    In a pan, heat oil.
  6. 6

    Dip the bread slices in the batter and place them in the heated oil.
  7. 7

    Add topping on the the bread slices.
  8. 8

    Cook the slices from both sides.
  9. 9

    Serve veg uttapams with coconut chutney and kokam sharbat.
