INGREDIENTS

  • 3 to 4 garlic cloves
  • fresh ginger
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 to 3 green chillies
  • Fresh coriander
  • 4 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tbsp Wheat flour
  • ½ tsp asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • Wheat flour for dusting
  • salt to taste
  • water
  • For Garnish: green chillies
  • garlic cloves
  • coriander.

HOW TO PREPARE PYAAZ TAMATAR TIKKAR

    Smash the garlic cloves and then chop them finely.

    Chop the ginger onion and green chillies as well.
  3. 3

    Deseed a tomato and then chop it finely.
  4. 4

    Chop some fresh coriander too.

    In a bowl, take some corn flour and wheat flour.
  6. 6

    Add a little salt asafoetida and some ghee.
  7. 7

    Mix well using the fingers.

    Do not mix with your palm.

    Add half quantities of all chopped ingredients to this flour mixture.

    Mix well.

    Pour a little water and mix the flour with other ingredients, and make the dough.

    Dust the surface with some wheat flour.

    Make small pieces using the dough and roll them to the shape of roti.

    Mix the remaining chopped ingredients and Place them as the topping on the roti.

    Flatten again using a roller.

    Heat a pan.

    Place the roti for toasting.

    While toasting apply a little ghee on both sides.

    Transfer it to a serving plate.

    Garnish with some green chillies garlic cloves and coriander.
