  • 1/2 bowl maida
  • 1/2 bowl wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • salt as per taste
  • water
  • boiled chana dal
  • 1 bowl sugar
  • 1 tbsp cardamom powder

    In a bowl, add maida, wheat flour, ghee, salt as per taste, water and prepare a soft dough. Add ghee to make it softer. Cover the dough with a cloth and leave it to prove.

    Blend the boiled chana dal. Add the paste in a pan. Add sugar and cook it on low flame until the sugar melts. Once the puran is ready, cool it down and add cardamom powder to it.

    Roll out the dough, stuff the puran and seal it. Roll it out again. Cook it on the pan using ghee from both the sides.
