- 1/2 bowl maida
- 1/2 bowl wheat flour
- 2 tbsp ghee
- salt as per taste
- boiled chana dal
- 1 bowl sugar
- 1 tbsp cardamom powder
- In a bowl, add maida, wheat flour, ghee, salt as per taste, water and prepare a soft dough. Add ghee to make it softer. Cover the dough with a cloth and leave it to prove.
- Blend the boiled chana dal. Add the paste in a pan. Add sugar and cook it on low flame until the sugar melts. Once the puran is ready, cool it down and add cardamom powder to it.
- Roll out the dough, stuff the puran and seal it. Roll it out again. Cook it on the pan using ghee from both the sides.
