  • 1½ cup refined flour
  • tbsp cocoa powder
  • tbsp black pepper powder
  • tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 to 3 tsp pine nuts
  • 2 tbsp ginger
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ tsp cloves
  • FOR Glaze
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 to 3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp butter
  • FOR garnish
  • Glaze
  • pine nuts
  • chopped ginger
  • Icing sugar

HOW TO PREPARE PUMPKIN PINE NUT SCONES

    Form a dough by mixing refined flour cocoa powder, black pepper powder, cinnamon powder, brown sugar, butter, chopped pine nuts, chopped ginger, pumpkin puree, chopped cloves and salt.

    Roll the dough and make roundels.

    Place these on a non stick plate.

    Shift the plate to the baking pot and bake for about 20 minutes.

    Prepare the glaze by mixing brown sugar, milk, cinnamon powder and butter.

    Pour the glaze on the scones and burn the sugar a little with a blowtorch for a special effect.

    Serve the scones with icing sugar, pine nuts and chopped ginger for garnish.
