Prawns Basil Tikka

  • 2 to 3 tbsp basil chutney
  • black pepper powder
  • salt
  • 1½ tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic cloves
  • 1 to 2 tsp olive oil
  • 5 to 6 prawns
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp soya sauce
  • lettuce leaves
  • Salad
  • Lemon wedges

    De vein the prawns and retain the tail side shell.

    Marinate prawns with basil chutney, black pepper powder, salt, lemon juice, and chopped garlic cloves.

    Drizzle olive oil.
  4. 4

    Coat well and rest the marinated prawns for 10 min.
  5. 5

    In another bowl, combine mayonnaise, chilli sauce, sugar, and soy sauce.

    Mix the dressing well.

    Arrange the marinated prawns skewers and grill prawns in the barbeque.

    Brush oil on the prawns to avoid dryness.

    Grill until light brown.

    In the serving plate, place lettuce leaves in the centre and top it with salad.

    Separate the grilled prawns from skewers and place them on the salad.

    Top them with lemon wedges.

    Drizzle the dressing and green chutney on the grilled prawns.
