Prawn Vadai

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 gm prawns
  • 200 gm split bengal gram
  • 50 gm coconut (grated)
  • 3 to 4 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp split bengal gram
  • 1 tsp tumeric powder
  • 1 onion
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 15 gm carrot
  • salt
  • crushed black pepper
  • oil
  • FOR salad
  • 50 gm cabbage
  • 20 gm carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 20 gm coconut
  • 15 gm coriander
  • 1 lemon juice
  • black pepper
  • FOR garnish
  • tamarind sambal

HOW TO PREPARE PRAWN VADAI

    In a blender jar, soaked chana dal and prepare a paste.
  2. 2

    Add the paste in a bowl. Add grated coconut and mix it.
  3. 3

    Add finely chopped green chillies and mix it.
  4. 4

    Add soaked chana dal and mix.
  5. 5

    Add turmeric powder and mix it nicely.
  6. 6

    Stuff the mixture with shrimp and deep fry it in the old.

    Deep fry the chana dal balls in the oil.
  8. 8

    In a heated pan, add oil, sliced onion, prawns, salt as per taste, lemon juice and toss it.

    Add grated carrot, crushed black pepper and mix.
  10. 10

    Crush the chana dal wada and deep fry it again.
  11. 11

    Cut the stuffed wada and add it in the plate.
  12. 12

    In a bowl, add cabbage, grated carrots, onion, coconut, coriander and mix it well.
  13. 13

    Add lemon juice, crushed black pepper and mix. To the wada, add prawns, salad. Garnish with tamarind sambal and serve.
