  • 4 cup of water
  • 2 tsp black tea leaves
  • 1/2 tsp soda bicarbonate
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • For phemar
  • 1 cup roasted barley flour
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

    In a pan, add water, black tea leaves and let it boil. Add soda bicarbonate, milk, a pinch of salt and mix. Strain the chai in a jar. Add butter and mix it.

    For Phemar, add roasted barley flour in a bowl. Add powdered sugar, curd, chai and mix it well. Add butter, chai and prepare a dough. Make small sized Phemar and serve with Gur Gur Chai.
