INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Stuffing
  • 2 tbsp Rice
  • 3 tbsp Urad Dal
  • 3 tbsp Channa Dal
  • 1 tsp Asafoetida
  • 2 tsp Garlic
  • 2 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Green Chilli
  • Cumin seeds
  • Salt
  • FOR Dough
  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • Salt
  • Water
  • ½ tsp tsp Oil

HOW TO PREPARE PHARAH

    For stuffing grind soaked rice, rice, urad dal, channa dal, asafoetida, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, chopped green chilli and cumin seeds and make a fine paste.

    remove the paste in a bowl, add salt, mix and keep aside.
  3. 3

    for dough take rice flour, add salt and knead the dough with very little water, in the end add oil to bring the dough together.

    make small pedas of the dough and roll into small roti.
  5. 5

    fill in the phrah stuffing in the centre, dap water on the side of roti and close it in half moon shape.
  6. 6

    warm water in a saucepan, add salt and bring to boil poach pharah in water for 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. 7

    remove when done.
  8. 8

    serve pharah with green chutney and ghee.
