Pesarattu Waffle

  • FOR the batter
  • 1 cup ricesoaked
  • 1 cup green moongsoaked
  • ½ tsp asafoetida
  • 2 tbsp Onionfinely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Water as required
  • FOR the pineapple and tomato mixture
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 7-10curry|leaves
  • 1 cup pineapplediced
  • ½ cup tomatodiced
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

    Take soaked rice, soaked green moong dal, water, asafoetida and salt and blend them well in a mixer.

    Set aside the batter in a bowl.
  3. 3

    Add salt and chopped onion to the mixture.
  4. 4

    Mix it well and let it rest for 15 ? 20 minutes.

    To prepare the pineapple and tomato mixture, heat oil in a pan.

    Add curry leaves, diced pineapple, and diced tomato.

    Add salt and lemon juice.
  8. 8

    Toss the mixture and turn off the flame.

    Grease a waffle maker with some oil and add the batter.
  10. 10

    Allow the waffles to cook for 3 ? 4 minutes.

    Set aside the waffles for 2-3 minutes to cool and slice them in half.
  12. 12

    Serve the waffles in a plate with the pineapple and tomato mixture.
