INGREDIENTS

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 4 apricots
  • dried
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 8 to 10 Almonds
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • olive oil
  • Rice
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper powder to taste
  • water
  • For Garnish Coriander sprig
  • For Serving: Gosht boti kebabs

PREPARATION

    Soak the dry apricots raisins, and almonds in water, so that they are puffed up. Chop the soaked dry fruits into small pieces. Boil water in a pan and add rice. Sieve the boiled rice. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the chopped onion and diced green bell pepper. Season with turmeric salt, and black pepper powder. Cook on a low flame for 4 to 5 min. Add boiled rice and chopped dry fruits. Cover the lid and simmer for a couple of minutes. Serve hot in a plate with gosht boti kebabs by garnishing pilaf with a coriander sprig.
