  • 1 cup soaked rice
  • 1/2 cup jaggery
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • salt as required
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1/3 cup poppy seeds
  • 1/4 cup pistachios
  • 1/4 cup almond
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 egg
  • sugar as required
  • coconut water
  • cardamom powder
  • pistachio
  • almond

    Soak the rice overnight. Grind the soaked rice into a fine paste. Add jaggery, cardamom powder, coconut milk, salt and mix well.

    Heat ghee in a pan and saute poppy seeds pistachios, raisins and keep aside.

    Add an egg to the batter and mix well.

    Pour a ladleful of batter on the pan. Spread some sugar and nuts mixture on the ghavne and fold it. Make seven such layers of ghavne.

    Serve the Pathavniche Ghavne with coconut milk, cardamom powder, pistachios and almonds.
