Patatas Bravas

  • FOR sauce
  • 1 cup tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic chopped
  • 1 cup onions chopped
  • 3-4 tbsp Olive oil
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp sugar
  • 2-3red chilliesdried
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Refined flour
  • Water as required
  • FOR garnish
  • mayonnaise
  • parsley chopped

    Parboil potato wedges in water for 4-5 minutes, drain the water and shift them on to an absorbent paper.

    In a pan, heat the oil and fry chopped onions, chopped garlic and chopped tomatoes.
  3. 3

    Add black pepper powder, salt, sugar, paprika, sliced deseeded dried red chilli and some water to make a smooth paste.

    Add vinegar and refined flour.
  5. 5

    Mix all in a blender and strain it in a bowl.

    Your fresh tomato sauce is ready.

    Deep fry the potato pieces and plate it with tomato sauce.
  8. 8

    Garnish the Patatas Bravas with mayonnaise and chopped parsley.
