INGREDIENTS

  • FOR White Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • FOR Pasta
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 2 tsp tomato puree
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 4 5basil leaves
  • 2 cup whole wheat penne pasta boiled
  • 2 tsp parmesan cheese powder
  • salt to taste
  • FOR Garnish
  • Basil leaves

HOW TO PREPARE PASTA IN CREAMY TOMATO SAUCE

    When the pan becomes hot add butter.
  2. 2

    Add some wheat flour to the melted butter.
  3. 3

    Pour a little milk to this mixture and stir gently.
  4. 4

    The white sauce is ready.
  5. 5

    Heat another pan with olive oil.
  6. 6

    Add chopped garlic red chilli flakes, tomato puree, chopped tomatoes and salt.

    When the mixture becomes thick and pulpy, add some basil leaves.

    Pour the white sauce in this mixture.
  9. 9

    Add penne pasta to this.
  10. 10

    Stir this for one minute.

    Toss some parmesan cheese on the top of the pasta.

    Transfer the pasta to a serving plate.

    Garnish with basil leaves.
