  • FOR Parwal Masala Curry
  • 6 pointed gourds
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 3 to 4 tbsp oil
  • salt
  • FOR Stuffing
  • Peanuts
  • sesame seeds
  • poppy seeds
  • FOR Masala
  • 3 to 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 8 to 10curry leaves
  • 3 - 4 sliced green chillies
  • 1 cup onion paste
  • 2 tsp Madras curry powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp All ground spice
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • salt
  • water
  • FOR Garnish
  • Criander leaves

    Roast some peanuts sesame seeds and poppy seeds.
  2. 2

    Prepare a paste by grinding them and your stuffing for the parwal is ready.
  3. 3

    Make slits on the pointed gourds.
  4. 4

    Fill them with the prepared stuffing.
  5. 5

    In a bowl, take some ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, a little salt and chaat masala.

    Mix well.
  7. 7

    Place the stuffed gourds in this and coat them with the mixture.

    In a pan, fry the stuffed gourds on all sides.
  9. 9

    Simultaneously heat oil in another pan.
  10. 10

    Add some mustard seeds.

    When the seeds splutter add curry leaves, sliced green chillies, onion paste, Madras curry powder, red chilli powder, all ground spice, turmeric powder and a little salt.

    Mix well by pouring water.

    Pour coconut milk into this gravy.
  14. 14

    Stir well and let it cook for some time till it becomes thick.

    When the stuffed pointed gourds are fried, transfer them to a serving plate.

    Pour the masala on top of them.

    Garnish it with some coriander leaves and serve hot.
