  • 9-10 pointed gourd (parwal)
  • 1 lit water
  • 800 gm sugar
  • 4-5 cardamoms
  • 1 tbsp desi ghee
  • 200 gm mava
  • 1 cup beetroot paste
  • For garnish
  • marigold petals
  • pistachios
  • sweet boondi

    Peel the pointed gourd and make a cavity inside by making it hollow.

    In a pan, add water, sugar, cardamoms and parwal and allow it to boil.

    In another pan and add ghee, mava, beetroot paste and cook well.

    Allow this to cool down and fill this stuffing in the boiled parwal and garnish with pistachios, sweet boondi and marigold flower petals.
