INGREDIENTS

  • 1 papaya
  • semi ripe
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 tbsp almond powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • For Meethe Moti: ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 Cup Yogurt
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp cardamom powder
  • Ghee as required
  • For Garnish: Rose petals

HOW TO PREPARE PAPITE KA HALWA

    Cut peel, and deseed the semi ripe papaya.

    Soak papaya in cold water for some time.
  3. 3

    Grate papaya in a bowl.
  4. 4

    In a pan, heat ghee.
  5. 5

    Add poppy seeds and grated papaya.
  6. 6

    Cook well.
  7. 7

    Add almond powder and sugar.
  8. 8

    Mix well.
  9. 9

    For meethe moti, combine all purpose flour, yogurt, baking soda, and honey in a bowl.

    Knead well.
  11. 11

    Add cardamom powder and knead again.
  12. 12

    Make small balls from the dough and bake in a pre heated oven at 180 200 C.

    Once baked, glaze meethe moti with honey.
  14. 14

    Serve papite ka halwa and meethe moti by garnishing with rose petals.
