  • 1 papaya
  • semi ripe
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 tbsp almond powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • For Meethe Moti ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 Cup Yogurt
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp cardamom powder
  • Ghee as required
  • For Garnish Rose petals

    Cut peel, and deseed the semi ripe papaya. Soak papaya in cold water for some time. Grate papaya in a bowl. In a pan, heat ghee. Add poppy seeds and grated papaya. Cook well. Add almond powder and sugar. Mix well. For meethe moti, combine all purpose flour, yogurt, baking soda, and honey in a bowl. Knead well. Add cardamom powder and knead again. Make small balls from the dough and bake in a pre heated oven at 180 200 C. Once baked, glaze meethe moti with honey. Serve papite ka halwa and meethe moti by garnishing with rose petals.
