INGREDIENTS

  • 6 papad
  • ½ cup flattened rice
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp split gram
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 8 to 10 curry leaves
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 3 green chillies
  • 2 tbsp onions
  • 1 watermelon wedges
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 1 green onion

HOW TO PREPARE PAPAD POHA

  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl add oil, roasted split gram, mustard seeds, curry leaves, turmeric powder and slit green chillies.

    Mix them well and microwave it for 1 2 minutes.
  3. 3

    For the papad upma: In a mixing bowl, add oil, crushed papad, flattened rice, prepared masala and chopped onions.

    Mix them well.
  5. 5

    Serve the upma in a papad bowl.
  6. 6

    For the plating: Place the papad upma onto a plate and garnish it with a slice of lime, slit green chilli and spring onion.
