INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup paneer crumbled
  • ¼ cup spring onion greens
  • ¼ cup coriander
  • 1 tbsp red chilli paste
  • 2 tbsp refined flour
  • Bread croutons
  • salt
  • water
  • oil for frying
  • 2 to 3 lettuce leaves
  • red bell pepper juliennes
  • yellow bell pepper juliennes
  • Spring onion flowers

PREPARATION

    Mash crumbled paneer in a bowl. Add chopped spring onion greens salt, chopped coriander, and red chilli paste. Mix well. Prepare a batter by mixing refined flour and water. Make small balls from the paneer mixture and coat them with the refined flour mixture. Then dip the balls in bread croutons. Cover the balls evenly by applying slight pressure. Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the rumbles till the colour becomes golden brown. Drain excess oil. Place some lettuce leaves in a serving plate. Transfer the rumbles onto the leaves. Garnish with some red and yellow bell pepper juliennes and spring onion flowers.
