INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Pan Fried Oal
  • 3 sliced turnips
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp all ground spices
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • FOR Sauce
  • 2 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 tsp chopped green chillies
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp chopped spring onion greens
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • FOR Garnish
  • Bread slices toasted
  • Curly lettuce

HOW TO PREPARE PAN FRIED OAL

    In a bowl mix sliced turnip oil, ginger garlic paste, all ground spice, red chilli powder and salt.

    In a grill pan, roast the marinated turnips.
  3. 3

    For the sauce, heat oil in a pan, add garlic, onion, green chilli (all finely chopped), tomato puree, black pepper powder, salt, finely chopped spring onion leaves, chilli flakes and sugar.

    Mix them all well.
  5. 5

    Serve the turnips with the prepared sauce and garnish with toasted bread slices and curly lettuce leaves.
