  • 1 1/2 refined flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • water
  • 1/2 cup refined flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • icing sugar for garnish

    Mix refined flour, eggs, baking soda, baking powder, butter, icing sugar, salt, granulated sugar, and water in a bowl and knead them into a soft dough. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into balls.

    In another bowl, mix refined flour, butter, icing sugar, cocoa powder and knead into a dough. Flatten the dough and cut round pieces using a cutter.

    Place the pieces on top of the small dough balls. Transfer the balls to a baking dish and bake them for 10 - 12 minutes at 160 - 175'C.

    Sprinkle icing sugar on top of the baked buns and serve.
