INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup soaked whole green gram
  • 4 to 5 spinach leaves
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 2 tsp chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp chopped green chillies
  • 1 ½ tbsp Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp gram flour
  • salt to taste
  • For The Chaat 1 boiled potato
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp onions
  • 1 wedge lemon juice
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp tamarind chutney
  • salt to taste
  • For Garnish Yogurt as required
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • Lemon wedge
  • coriander leaves

PREPARATION

    Blend the soaked whole green gram to a thick paste. Transfer the paste to a bowl and add finely chopped spinach leaves, chopped ginger, chopped coriander, chopped green chillies, yogurt, and gram flour. Add salt and mix the moongudi paste well. Heat oil and fry small portions of moongudi. Set aside on a tissue paper. Fry the boiled potato and set aside. In a bowl, add the fried moongudis and potatoes. Add chaat masala salt, chopped coriander, chopped onions, lemon juice, red chilli powder, and tamarind chutney. Toss the mixture and arrange potatoes and moongudi on skewers. Decorate a plate with yogurt and sprinkle red chilli powder. Garnish with a lemon wedge and coriander leaves.
