Orange Pistachio Cinnamon rolls

  • 1½ cup refined flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp White butter
  • orange juice
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 250 ml condensed milk
  • ¼ cup Pistachio
  • 2 to 3 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 to 3 tsp orange zest grated
  • salt
  • 50 ml condensed milk
  • water
  • ¼ cup Dark chocolate grated
  • Pistachio
  • Icing sugar

    Take a bowl and add refined flour baking powder, salt, baking soda, cinnamon powder, white butter, orange juice, olive oil and condensed milk, and knead them all into a soft dough.

    Dust some flour, roll out the dough and flatten it.
  3. 3

    Sprinkle the chopped pistachios and roll out again.
  4. 4

    Spread olive oil or butter and sprinkle the cinnamon powder and orange zest.
  5. 5

    Roll the flattened dough to form a Swiss roll and seal the end with some orange juice or butter.
  6. 6

    Cut the roll into small roundels and flatten them with the hands.
  7. 7

    Keep the roundels for an hour for proving.
  8. 8

    Place the rolls on a baking tray and bake them in a pre heated oven at 180 C for 12 minutes.

    Prepare a glaze by heating condensed milk, water, grated dark and chocolate in a pan.

    Turn off the flame while mixing them.
  11. 11

    Coat the cinnamon rolls with glaze while they are hot.
  12. 12

    Garnish with chopped pistachios and icing sugar.
