HOW TO PREPARE ONION CHUTNEY

    Heat oil in a saucepan.

    Add red chillies, Bengal gram, chopped garlic cloves and chopped onions.

    Saut� them well.
  4. 4

    Transfer this mixture into a mixer grinder.
  5. 5

    Then, add tamarind, salt and water.
  6. 6

    Grind it to a smooth paste and transfer the blended mixture into a bowl.

    For the tempering: Heat oil in a saucepan.
  8. 8

    Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  9. 9

    Saut� them well.
  10. 10

    Then, pour this tempering over the blended onion mixture in the bowl and mix it well with a spoon.
