INGREDIENTS

  • 100 gm desi ghee
  • 100 gm caster sugar
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 pinch nutmeg powder
  • ¼ cup semolina
  • ¼ cup Yogurt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp saffron milk
  • Flour

HOW TO PREPARE NANKHATAI

  1. 1

    Put desi ghee in a bowl.
  2. 2

    Add castor sugar, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, semolina, yogurt, baking soda, all purpose flour and saffron milk.

    Mix well and prepare a smooth dough.
  4. 4

    Make small balls from the dough and flatten them.
  5. 5

    Shape the dough with a cookie cutter.
  6. 6

    Dust the baking tray with the flour and arrange the nankhatai.
  7. 7

    Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 C for 30 40 minutes.
  8. 8

    Arrange the nankhatais on a serving dish.
