INGREDIENTS

  • For the marinade
  • 1kg pork
  • 1 1/2 tsp mustard oil
  • salt
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • for the potatoes 1 tsp mustard oil
  • 1 cup chopped potatoes
  • For curry
  • 2 tsp mustard oil
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tsp bamboo shoots
  • 1/2 ltr water

PREPARATION

    For the marinade: In a mixing bowl, add pork, mustard oil, salt, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and cumin powder.

    For the potatoes: Heat mustard oil in a saucepan. Add chopped potatoes and fry until it turns golden brown.

    For the curry: Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add chopped onions, dry red chilli, ginger garlic paste, salt, green chillies, bamboo shoot and the marinated pork.

    Mix and cook the pork well.

    Add water and the cooked potatoes. Stir it well. Close the pressure cooker and allow the whistle to blow 11-12 times.
