INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup lotus stems
  • grated
  • 2 tbsp gram flour
  • 1 tsp Carom seeds
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Yogurt
  • 1 tsp All ground spice
  • salt
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 to 2 tbsp oil For Garnish: Green chutney
  • Red and yellow bell pepper
  • For Plating: Red cabbage
  • Curly lettuce

HOW TO PREPARE NADROO TIKKI

  1. 1

    To a bowl add grated lotus stems, gram flour, carom seeds, finely chopped ginger, lemon juice, curd, all ground spice, salt and turmeric powder.

    Mix them all well and make tikkis.
  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan and roast the tikkis on both sides, till they attain a golden colour.
  4. 4

    Serve with red cabbage leaves, lettuce and garnish with green chutney.
