  • 1 cup lotus stems; grated; 2 tbsp gram flour; 1 tsp Carom seeds; 1 tsp chopped ginger; ½ tsp lemon juice; 1 tsp Yogurt; 1 tsp All ground spice; salt; ½ tsp turmeric powder; 1 to 2 tbsp oil For Garnish: Green chutney; Red and yellow bell pepper; For Plating: Red cabbage; Curly lettuce

    To a bowl add grated lotus stems, gram flour, carom seeds, finely chopped ginger, lemon juice, curd, all ground spice, salt and turmeric powder.

    ; Mix them all well and make tikkis.

    ; Heat oil in a pan and roast the tikkis on both sides, till they attain a golden colour.

    ; Serve with red cabbage leaves, lettuce and garnish with green chutney.
