  • 1 cup lotus stems
  • grated
  • 2 tbsp gram flour
  • 1 tsp Carom seeds
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Yogurt
  • 1 tsp All ground spice
  • salt
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 to 2 tbsp oil For Garnish Green chutney
  • Red and yellow bell pepper
  • For Plating Red cabbage
  • Curly lettuce

    To a bowl add grated lotus stems, gram flour, carom seeds, finely chopped ginger, lemon juice, curd, all ground spice, salt and turmeric powder. Mix them all well and make tikkis. Heat oil in a pan and roast the tikkis on both sides, till they attain a golden colour. Serve with red cabbage leaves, lettuce and garnish with green chutney.
