INGREDIENTS

  • FOR kofta
  • 1pear
  • 1 cup paneergrated
  • 1 tsp red chilli paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp corn flour
  • Oil for frying
  • FOR gravy
  • 4tomatoes
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 7dry red chillies
  • 1 tbsp green cardamom
  • 1 tbsp green fenugreek
  • 1-2cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp red chilli paste
  • 2 tsp tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp cashew nut paste
  • Oil for frying
  • FOR garnish
  • Malai
  • coriander leaves

HOW TO PREPARE NAASPATI KE KOFTE

    In a bowl, add finely chopped pear, paneer, red chilli paste, salt, cumin seeds, and corn flour.

    Mix well.
  3. 3

    In a mixer, add the chopped tomatoes, cloves, salt, cumin seeds, water, and oil to prepare a paste.
  4. 4

    Shape the pear mixture like a kofta and coat it with corn flour.
  5. 5

    Heat mustard oil in a pan; add red chilli, green cardamom, fenugreek, cinnamon, tomato paste, water, red chilli paste, tomato puree, and cashewnut paste.

    Mix to prepare a gravy.

    While the gravy is cooking, fry the pear mixture koftas.
  8. 8

    Serve the koftas with the gravy.
  9. 9

    Garnish with the malai and coriander leaves.
