INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cup ghee
  • 3 - 4 cloves
  • 7 - 8 black peppercorns
  • 1 cinamon stick
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 black cardamom
  • 500 gm mutton
  • salt as per taste
  • 3 - 4 tbsp chilli powder
  • 2 - 3 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 - 2 cup yoghurt
  • 1 cup ghee
  • 1 tbsp garam masala

PREPARATION

  1. 1

    Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add cloves, black peppercorns, cinnamon, bay leaves and black cardamom and sauté.

    Marinate the mutton with salt, chilli powder and turmeric.
  3. 3

    Transfer the mutton to the cooker, add yoghurt and mix well. Cook until mutton is done.
  4. 4

    Debone and shred the mutton using a knife.
  5. 5

    Heat ghee in a pan and add the shredded mutton, mutton gravy from the cooker, garam masala and mix well.
  6. 6

    Mutton Mokul is ready to serve.
