INGREDIENTS

  • 4 dry red chillies
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 2 tsp black peppercorns
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 grated onion
  • pink salt as per taste
  • 750 grams of chicken
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 350 grams of ash gourd
  • For garnish
  • coriander leaves

PREPARATION

  1. 1

    In a pan, add dry red chillies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, black peppercorns and dry roast it. Add the spices in a grinder and powder it.

    In a pan, add mustard oil and let it heat. Add slit green chillies, bay leaves. Add grated onion, pink salt as per taste and let it cook.

    Add chicken and stir fry it for 3 - 4 minutes. Add turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste and cook it.

    Add water in the masala, mix it and pour it in the pan. Add water and let it cook. Add ash gourd, water, pink salt as per taste and cook it.

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
