INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Murg Tangdi Kabab
  • 3 chicken drumsticks
  • 3 to 4 tbsp oil
  • FOR Marinade
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli paste
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • FOR Tandoori Masala
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp red chilli paste
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • FOR Plating
  • Lettuce leaves as required
  • Onion slices as required
  • Tomato slices as required
  • Green bell pepper slices as required
  • FOR Garnish
  • Green chutney
  • Mint leaves

HOW TO PREPARE MURG TANGDI KABAB

    Make small incisions in the chicken drumsticks and keep them in a bowl.

    To marinate the chicken drumsticks, add ginger garlic paste, red chilli paste, chaat masala, salt and lemon juice to the bowl and mix well.

    Set aside.
  4. 4

    For the tandoori masala, in a different bowl, take yogurt and whisk it well.
  5. 5

    Add ginger garlic paste red chilli paste, chaat masala, black salt and lemon juice.
  6. 6

    Mix them all.
  7. 7

    Add salt and garam masala and mix again.
  8. 8

    Pour the entire masala in the chicken bowl and mix well.
  9. 9

    Set the chicken bowl aside for three hours so that the masala is absorbed well.

    Add oil and arrange the chicken legs on a baking tray with the entire marinade.
  11. 11

    Bake in a pre heated oven at 170 C for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Arrange the lettuce leaves, onions, tomatoes and the green bell pepper (all sliced) on a plate, forming a circle.
  13. 13

    Keep the baked chicken legs at the centre.
  14. 14

    Garnish with green chutney and mint leaves to serve.
