INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup paste of soaked Mung Dal
  • 1 cup ghee
  • 1 cup sugar syrup
  • 1/2 cup almonds, sliced
  • Green cardamom powder
  • 100 gm Khoya
  • For Garnish:
  • Silver vark
  • Rose petals

HOW TO PREPARE MUNG DAL HALWA

  1. 1

    In a heated pan, add ghee, soaked Mung Dal paste and mix well.
  2. 2

    Cook it until it turns golden brown.
  3. 3

    Add sugar syrup and let it cook.
  4. 4

    Add sliced almonds, green cardamom powder and mix it well.
  5. 5

    Add Khoya and mix again.
  6. 6

    For plating, place a tart shell on a plate.
  7. 7

    Place the Halwa in the tart.
  8. 8

    Garnish it with silver vark, rose petals and Mung Dal Halwa is ready to serve.
