INGREDIENTS

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 - 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 tbsp brown sugar
  • nutmeg powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 6 multigrain bread slices
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds
  • 1 tbsp walnuts
  • 1 tbsp raisins

PREPARATION

    In a bowl, add eggs and whisk it. Add milk, brown sugar, a pinch of nutmeg powder, vanilla essence. Add shredded multigrain bread and mix.

    Leave the bread to soak in milk for 10 - 12 minutes. In a pan, add butter, brown sugar and leave it to caramelise. Add chopped almonds, cashew nuts, walnuts, raisins and leave it to set.

    Pour the bread mixture over it and spread it. Wrap the tray with foil. Fill the pan with water. Add a bowl in the pan and fill it with water too. Add the tray over the bowl and leave it to cook for 30 minutes.

    Let the pudding cool down. Unmould the pudding. Flip the pudding on a plate and serve.
