  • 500 gm mutton
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ cup curd
  • 1 black cardamom
  • 100 gm liver
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 3-4 tbsp oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 black cardamom
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • water
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • black pepper paste
  • 2 tbsp coconut and cashew paste
  • 200 gm puffed rice
  • 1 finely chopped onion

    In a bowl, mix together the mutton, salt, red chilli powder, curd, black cardamom, live and coriander powder.

    Cook this in pressure cooker till the meat becomes tender.

    Take oil in a pan and bay leaf, cinnamon, finely chopped onion, sugar, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, water, poppy seeds and black pepper paste and coconut and cashew paste and cook for few minutes.

    Add the cooked mutton to this gravy and cook for a few minutes more.

    Serve the mutton curry with, finely chopped onion and mudhi (puffed rice).
