INGREDIENTS

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 block butter
  • 4 to 5 tbsp sugar
  • 1 to 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 to 4 tbsp chocolate
  • melted
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Chocolate syrup as required
  • Butter for greasing
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • For Garnish Chocolate syrup
  • icing sugar
  • whipped cream
  • Cherries

HOW TO PREPARE MUD CAKE

  1. 1

    In a bowl beat eggs with butter and sugar.

    Add a few drops of vanilla essence.
  3. 3

    Add all purpose flour and then beat again till the mixture thickens.
  4. 4

    Add baking powder melted chocolate, cocoa powder, and a generous amount of chocolate syrup.
  5. 5

    Mix well and prepare the batter for the cake.
  6. 6

    Grease a cake mould with butter.
  7. 7

    Pour the cake batter in this mould.
  8. 8

    Bake the mud cake in a pre heated oven for 15 minutes at 180'C.

    Dust cocoa powder in the serving plate.
  10. 10

    Place the mud cake on it.
  11. 11

    Slice the cake as desired.
  12. 12

    Pour chocolate syrup on top.
  13. 13

    Garnish by dusting icing sugar.
  14. 14

    Decorate with whipped cream on top.
  15. 15

    Top with a few cherries.
  16. 16

    Serve.
