  • brinjals
  • soaked choi
  • black peppercorn
  • coconut
  • ridge gourd & ash gourd
  • drumsticks
  • red pumpkin
  • arbi & papdi
  • milk
  • rice flour
  • sugar
  • ghee

HOW TO PREPARE MORICHER JHOL

  1. 1

    In a heated pan, add ghee, brinjals and fry it and take it out in a bowl.
  2. 2

    In another heated pan, add oil, black peppercorns, coconut. Add chopped ridge gourd, drumsticks, ash gourd, pumpkin, arbi, papdi and stir it.
  3. 3

    Add the choi, water and let it cook. Add the slurry of milk, flour and sugar. Add powdered choi and stir it. Add fried brinjals and mix.
  4. 4

    Garnish with ghee, chana wadi and serve.
