INGREDIENTS

  • FOR the dough
  • 200 gm moong dalsoaked
  • 1 tbsp tahini paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
  • ¼ tsp lemon juice
  • 400mlOlive oil
  • FOR the seasoning
  • ¼ tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • FOR garnish
  • green olives
  • cucumbersliced
  • carrotsliced
  • Olive oil
  • A pinch of red chilli powder

HOW TO PREPARE MOONG DAL HUMMUS

    Take the soaked moong dal, add it to boiling water and blanch it well.

    Add salt and strain the dal.

    Transfer the strained moong dal to the mixer with Tahini paste, chopped garlic, lemon juice and olive oil.

    Blend the mixture and set aside in a bowl.

    Season the mixture with lemon juice, red chilli powder and salt.

    Mix well.

    Arrange the hummus in a plate with green olives, cucumber and carrot salad.

    Spread olive oil and add a sprinkle of red chilli powder.
