INGREDIENTS

  • For soup
  • 200 gm mutton on the bone
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 chopped radish
  • 1 chopped potato
  • 1/2 radish juliennes
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 chopped carrot
  • few broccoli florets momo
  • For momo
  • 200 gm mutton mince
  • 50 gm mutton fat
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • For chutney
  • few sprigs of mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup chopped radish
  • salt
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • fresh coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp oil

PREPARATION

    In a pan, add water and let it boil. Add mutton on the bones, chopped onion, radish and let it cook.

    Strain the soup in a bowl. Add the soup back in the pan. Add chopped potato, radish juliennes, chopped onion, salt as per taste, black pepper.

    Add chopped carrots, broccoli florets and let it cook.
  4. 4

    For momo, in a jar, add mutton mince, mutton fat and grind it. In a heated pan, add oil, chopped onion, mutton and saute.

    Add salt as per taste, black pepper powder and mix it well. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix. Add the mixture in a bowl.

    In a bowl, add wheat flour, salt as per taste, oil, water and prepare a dough. Add oil over the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.

    Roll out the dough and cut it using a cutter into small circles. Add the stuffing and fold the momos. Add the momos in the steamer and let it cook for 5 - 7 minutes.

    For chutney, in a jar, add mint leaves, chopped radish, salt as per taste, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, coriander leaves, oil and grind it.

    Serve the Soup, Momo and Chutney hot.
