INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 to 3 bay leaves
  • 2 black cardamom
  • 3 to 4 green cardamom
  • 3 to 4 cloves
  • 3 to 4 black peppercorns
  • 50 gm sugar
  • 5 to 6 strands of saffron
  • 1 tbsp almonds
  • 1 tbsp cashewnuts
  • 1 tbsp dates
  • 1 tbsp blended almonds
  • water
  • ½ tsp cup milk

PREPARATION

    In Ghee add Cinnamon sticks, bay Leaves, cloves, black peppercorns, green cardamom and saute.

    Add sugar, saffron, dates, almonds, cashewnuts, blended almonds and saute.
  3. 3

    Add water milk socked rice, let the rice cook.
  4. 4

    Garnish Modhur Pulav with sliced Khajur.
