  • 1½ cup refined flour
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder, Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp vanilla essence/syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp toned milk
  • 250 ml condensed milk, Water as required

    Add refined flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, icing sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla essence, olive oil, butter and toned milk to a large bowl and mix well.

    To the mixture add condensed milk and stir well to make a batter of pouring consistency.

    Grease the cake mould with a little olive oil and pour the batter into it.

    Heat water in a deep, heavy-bottomed pot.
  5. 5

    Place the mould in the pot and bake for 20 minutes, without a lid on the pot.

    For the frosting, mix coffee powder and water well in a saucepan.
  7. 7

    Add butter, icing sugar, vanilla essence and condensed milk to it and mix well.

    Switch off the stove.

    Demould the cake after 30-40 seconds of removing it from the pot.

    Place the cake in the serving dish and pour the butter frosting over it.

    Also, sprinkle some icing sugar on it.

    On the cake as well as on the plate, sprinkle a few drops of vanilla essence.

    Your delicious cake is ready to eat.
