INGREDIENTS

  • 750 gm of chicken
  • 1 tbsp desi ghee
  • 2 - 1/2 cup water
  • pink salt as per taste
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 black cardamom
  • 3 green cardamom
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  • 2 slit red chillies
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped leek
  • 1/4 cup mustard leaves
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/4 cup grape juice
  • 1 tsp vinegar

PREPARATION

    Heat a lump of coal on the gas stove. In a bowl, add chicken and place a small bowl in between. Add the heated coal in the small bowl. Add desi ghee and cover the bowl.

    In a pan, add water and let it boil. Add pink salt as per taste, bay leaves, black cardamom, green cardamom, black peppercorns, slit red chillies.

    Add dry red chillies and let it simmer. Add finely chopped celery, leek, mustard leaves and let it cook. Add rice and let it cook.

    Add the smoked chicken and stir it. Let it cook for 10 - 12 minutes. Add grape juice, vinegar and mix it well.

    Serve it hot.
