INGREDIENTS

  • Water
  • 2 cups Basmati rice
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • ½ cup Almonds
  • ½ cup Raisins
  • 10 Cashew nuts
  • 3 to 4 Cloves
  • 4 to 5 Green Cardamom
  • 2 tbsp coconut
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 cup Mlik
  • Few strands of Saffron

PREPARATION

  1. 1

    In a pan warm ghee, add overnight soaked peeled almonds, raisins, cashew nuts, cloves, green cardamom and fry till golden brown, add grated coconut, sugar, milk, few strands of saffron and let it boil.

    In a bowl soak rice in water, let it boil in a pan and drain it.

    add boiled rice in milk and cook.
  4. 4

    garnish with saffron strands and serve hot.
