INGREDIENTS

  • 500 gm shrimp
  • 2 tbsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • banana leaves as required
  • foil paper as required

PREPARATION

    Take shrimp and sprinkle turmeric powder and salt over it.

    Mix them well.

    Marinate it for 15 to 20 minutes.

    In a pot, boil water, add peppercorns and marinated shrimps.

    Cook it for 4 to 5 minutes.

    Remove it in a bowl and pour mustard oil over it.

    Mix it well.

    Take coriander powder, pepper powder and lemon juice.

    Mix them well.

    Coat the cooked shrimps with this mixture.

    Place the shrimps on a banana leaf and seal it with the help of a toothpick.

    Wrap the leaves in a foil paper.

    Grill it for 8 to 10 minutes.

    Remove the foil and leaves and your dish is ready.
